How It Started
Two travelers. One question.
A whole new way to explore India.
We're Akash and Dharini — trekkers, travelers, and lovers of everything Indian culture has to offer. On our journeys, we kept meeting foreigners who craved more than tourist spots — they wanted real India. Home-cooked meals. Festival celebrations. Morning chai with a local family.
But there was no easy way to make that happen. So we built StayAtithi — named after the Sanskrit saying "Atithi Devo Bhava" (the guest is God). A platform where travelers stay in Indian homes and experience culture from the inside.
